Becoming Mrs. Harding. Again.

So, as you can tell from my blog’s name… I am married.

My husband and I eloped while on vacation in Australia at Christmas a few months back. It was a wonderful experience. It was extremely intimate and reflected us perfectly. It was simple and short and heartfelt.

This weekend, however, we get to say ‘I do’ again, this time in front of our friends and loved ones. It’s very exciting, and very stressful. I haven’t been doing nearly as much reading as I would like, nor as much writing, or reviewing. I really underestimated how much went into even a fairly small wedding. There are so many moving pieces. I can’t wait to celebrate with my friends and family, but I am very much over the planning and anticipation part of the whole thing.

I keep picking up books that I am supposed to be reviewing this week, but can’t dedicate enough brain power to them. And, if I do finish and take notes and have thoughts about them I’m ready to share, when I go to sit and write an intelligent review, my brain turns to mush!

Anyways, I am very happy to have the opportunity to share a very special day with my loved ones, and I am very grateful for the bookish community for being so patient. I’m sure so many people have experienced the sensation of being pulled in a thousand directions and something has to give. Unfortunately for me, that something is my reading and writing life for the next few days. My wedding is a once in a lifetime event, and I want to be so present for every moment.

But, I do have some bookish wedding news to share! My shoes came in! And you’re going to love them.

Thanks again for the support and I’ll get back to reviewing asap!
